Virtual Cooking Class with Pat Molter and a Smoothie Recipe

Hello, everyone! In this week’s blog post I will be sharing a smoothie recipe from Cindy H that she shared on the Alive n Vibrant Facebook Group! Cindy H’s Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 large kale leaf

  • 1 large beet leaf

  • 1 fistful of fresh parsley

  • 4 large romaine lettuce leaves

  • 1 lemon wedge including the white of the rind

  • 1 thumb-size piece of shaved ginger

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 1/4 C of milled flaxseed

  • 1/2 cup of blueberries

  • 3/4 cup of raspberries or strawberries depending on preference for the day

  • Dash of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric

  • 3 teaspoons of cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon of superfood powder

Steps

  1. Fill the blender with pure water just one inch below the mixture

  2. Blend till smooth
