The Story of Seema & How to Support

SEEMA bags are not only beautiful and well crafted by hand, but stand for so much more than fashion. The video highlights an interview with Pat Molter regarding SEEMA bags, their story, and what we are trying to achieve with your help!

SEEMA, which stands for “Social Endeavor to Elevate Mahila (Hindi for "women") Awareness,” which was founded in 2002, works to provide paid skill training and fair wage jobs for India's most vulnerable women so they can sustain themselves economically and escape abuse of all kinds. With the help of SEEMA, over 200 women have already been rescued from forced labor, prostitution, and hopelessness and continues its mission to support these women more and more, including the construction of a health clinic which would help save and sustain women and children in this rural area.

Please visit https://www.seemausa.com/ to learn more, purchase their products, or make a donation. SEEMA products are also available at Milaeger’s located at 838 Douglas Ave, Racine, WI 53402 and at various Outpost Natural Foods locations throughout the Milwaukee Metro area.

Please check out the video for an update from Pat from this past weekend.
